Salary: $50,000–$60,000 annually (based on experience)

Position Overview
ARP is seeking a Primary Therapist to deliver high-quality therapeutic services to clients in a substance use and mental health treatment setting. This role is ideal for clinicians who are clinically strong, proactive, and passionate about recovery-focused care.
Acceptable Licensure:
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Associate Professional Counselor (APC)
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family therapy services
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and determine clinical appropriateness for treatment
Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and service plans
Monitor client behavior and progress throughout treatment
Deliver crisis intervention services and follow established protocols
Conduct intake interviews and make referral recommendations as needed
Document services accurately and in compliance with clinical standards
Communicate significant incidents to the Clinical Director
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team
Uphold and embody the mission, vision, and values of Southern Live Oak Wellness, LLC
Minimum Qualifications
Active Georgia licensure or associate-level license (APC, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW)
Minimum 1 year of experience working with high-acuity mental health clients
3–5 years of experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment preferred
Experience leading group therapy and providing individual and family therapy
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-based environment
High level of initiative, professionalism, and clinical judgment
CPI and CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed)
