Associate-Level Licensure (APC, LMSW/MSW): Starting at $55,000
Fully Licensed (LPC, LCSW): Starting at $60,000

We are seeking a Primary Therapist who is clinically skilled, adaptable, and passionate about working with complex mental health presentations in both individual and group settings.
Position Overview
The Primary Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy to clients with high-acuity mental health needs. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to manage crisis situations, and a commitment to working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family therapy services
Conduct clinical interviews, assessments, and ongoing evaluations
Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and service plans
Assess and monitor client behavior and clinical progress
Provide crisis intervention and follow established protocols
Analyze clinical situations and implement appropriate interventions
Make determinations regarding level of care, referrals, and continued treatment needs
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Communicate unusual incidents or clinical concerns to the Clinical Director
Work independently while contributing effectively to a team-based environment
Uphold and embody the mission, vision, and values of Southern Live Oak Wellness, LLC
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
Active Georgia licensure or associate-level license:
LPC
APC / LAPC
LMSW
LCSW
Minimum 1 year of experience working with high-acuity mental health clients
3–5 years of experience in substance use and/or mental health treatment preferred
Ability to lead group therapy and provide individual and family sessions
Strong clinical judgment, initiative, and crisis-management skills
CPI and CPR/First Aid certification preferred (training provided if needed)
