About Hidden Creek Recovery & Retreat
Hidden Creek Recovery & Retreat (HCRR) is a residential adolescent mental health treatment program dedicated to providing evidence-based, compassionate care in a warm and supportive environment. We serve adolescents ages 11–17 with a wide range of behavioral health needs and support them in becoming “the great person they were always meant to be.”
We are seeking a Primary Therapist who is clinically strong, creative in their approach, and motivated to grow professionally while working with acute adolescent clients in a residential setting.
Position Overview
The Primary Therapist provides individual, group, and family therapy services to adolescent clients receiving residential treatment for mental health and co-occurring challenges, including self-harm, aggression, suicidal ideation, substance use, trauma, mood instability, depression, and anxiety.
This role is ideal for clinicians who enjoy working intensively with clients over a three- to six-month treatment episode, are comfortable with acuity, and value collaboration and clinical growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family therapy services
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations
Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment and service plans
Assess and monitor client behavior, progress, and clinical needs
Deliver crisis intervention services and follow established protocols
Conduct intake interviews and determine clinical appropriateness for treatment
Lead the evening program at least one night per week
Document services accurately and in compliance with clinical standards
Report unusual incidents or clinical concerns to the Clinical Director
Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary treatment team
Work independently while contributing to a team-based environment
Uphold and embody the mission, vision, and values of Hidden Creek Recovery & Retreat
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
Active licensure or associate-level license in Georgia:
LMFT
LAPC / APC
LPC
LMSW
LCSW
Minimum 1 year of experience working with adolescents in substance use and/or mental health treatment
Ability to lead group therapy and conduct individual and family sessions
Must pass a Level 2 Background Check
CPI and CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
