S.L.O.W. Academy is a specialized residential treatment program providing compassionate, structured care for adults navigating eating disorders and co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. Our team is committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can focus on stabilization, recovery, and long-term wellness.

We are looking for a Part-Time Staff Nurse to join our overnight clinical team. This is a consistent Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM schedule and is well suited for a nurse who values predictable hours and meaningful behavioral health work.

Position Overview

The Staff Nurse provides direct nursing care and clinical support to residents throughout the overnight shift. This role works closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team to monitor client health and safety, administer medications, respond to clinical needs, and maintain accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to residential clients throughout the overnight shift
• Monitor clients for changes in physical or mental health status and respond appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Complete nursing assessments, vital signs, medication administration, and other required clinical documentation
• Communicate significant clinical observations or changes in condition to the appropriate members of the treatment team
• Support medical and behavioral health interventions as needed
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment for clients
• Follow all applicable nursing standards, facility policies, and regulatory requirements
• Participate in handoff communication between shifts
• Collaborate with therapists, medical providers, behavioral health staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with emergency response and crisis intervention when clinically appropriate
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold client dignity at all times

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Previous nursing experience required
• Behavioral health, psychiatric, residential treatment, eating disorder, substance use, or related experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a residential behavioral health environment
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours
• Reliable attendance and commitment to the scheduled Monday and Tuesday overnight shifts

Every Monday & Tuesday
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

This is a part-time, two-shift-per-week position with a consistent overnight schedule.
